If you have previously created an applicant account, student ambassador account, or admin account with your email address then you will see this error message appear. You cannot use the same email address for two different accounts.
There are two options:
- You can use a different email address for your staff account.
- We can delete your applicant/admin/student ambassador account.
Option 1 is recommended for University staff who have already used their email address to create a Unibuddy admin account.
Option 2 is recommended for staff who have mistakenly created an applicant or student ambassador account. If you have created an applicant account - log in to the account via the university widget you registered with, go to 'settings' and scroll down and click 'Delete Account'. If you have created a student ambassador account or were unsuccessful in deleting your applicant account, please contact email@example.com and we will be able to delete the account for you.
