The things that make a good ambassador on a university's website equally apply to being a buddy on UCAS.com
- Be friendly and curious
- Short chatty replies
- Reply promptly
Questions posed during the pilot tended to focus on information about the course, the university and specific application requirements for the institution. For example experience of interviews or writing the Personal Statement.
The key difference between a UCAS-only and an ordinary Unibuddy ambassador is that you will be unable to share the direct URL to your individual profile, instead, people will be able to find you via the filters. Your university will also be unable to host Live Events with Unibuddy as they can on the wider platform.
